Hinter diesem Pseudonym verbirgt sich der New Yorker Musikproduzent und Songwriter Jerry Samuels, aber dazu mehr, wenn diese Liste im Jahr 1966 angelangt ist, ja, "They're Coming To Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!" darf eigentlich in keiner Popliste fehlen. Beatrice Kay wurde 1907 in New York als Hannah Beatrice Kuper geboren und begann ihre künstlerische Laufbahn bereits mit 6 Jahren als Little Lord Fauntleroy am Theater. Später machte sie als Sängerin in verschiedenen Nachtclubs sowie als Schauspielerin Karriere. Beatrice Kay sang unter anderem im Venetian Room des Fairmont Hotels in San Francisco, im Moulin Rouge in Paris oder im El Rancho Hotel in Las Vegas, alles damals sehr berühmte Adressen. Am Anfang ihrer Karriere performte sie auch noch unter den Künstlerinnennamen Honey Kuper und Honey Day. A Thousand Times No!!", "Casey Would Waltz With A Strawberry Blonde" oder "Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay" Erfolg. Ihre erste Rolle im Film hatte Beatrice Kay 1945 im Filmmusical "Billy Rose's Diamond Horseshoe" an der Seite von Betty Grable und unter der Regie von George Seaton. Auch in Fernsehserien war sie oft zu Gast, zum Beispiel in der ersten Folge von "Bonanza" 1961 in der Rolle der Witwe Clementine Hawkins. Weitere Serien mit Beatrice Kay in Gastrollen waren die Westernserie "The Rifleman" 1958-1963, "Ironside" 1967-1975 mit Raymond Burr als Chief of Detectives des San Francisco Police Department, die Detetivserie "Hawaiian Eye" 1959-1963 oder die Horrorserie "Night Gallery" 1970-1973. Im Jahr 1972 ging Beatrice Kay zum letzten Mal auf Tour mit der "Big Show Of 1936", weitere Stars dieser Show waren Ben Blue, Jackie Coogan, The Ink Spots, Virginia O'Brien, Cass Daley, Ray Bolger und die Weire Brothers, ja, und 1974 stand sie zum letzten Mal vor der Kamera für den Film "Ginger In The Morning", einer Komödie mit Sissy Spacek.
