Die Sängerin Catherine Lambert hat 2003 bei XXI Records das Album "Marc Bolan - Tales From The Book Of Time" mit lauter Versionen von Songs von Marc Bolan veröffentlicht, musikalisch begleitet wurde sie bei den Aufnahmen vom Lore Liege Ensemble, das aus den Musiker*innen Normand Vanasse (Guitar), Robert Lafond (Organ, Harpsichord), Claude Thompson (Recorder) und Isabelle Bozzini (Cello) bestand. Catherine Lambert wurde 1965 in Arthabaska, Kanada geboren und absolvierte eine Gesangsausbildung am Collége Lionel-Groulx in Quebec. Im Jahr 1993 begann sie dann an der McGill University in Montreal early music zu studieren und arbeitete als Chorsängerin beim Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Catherine Lambert hat auch die Soloalben "Puisqu'en Oubli - Songs Of The Forgetfulness" 1998, "Catherine Lambert" 2002, "Berceuses" 2005 und "Nord" 2009 veröffentlicht. Das Album "Marc Bolan - Tales From The Book Of Time" wurde 2019 bei Troubadour Records unter dem Titel "Beltane (Tales From The Book Of Time) - The Music Of Marc Bolan" neu aufgelegt. Die Songs wurden von Robert Lafond für das Lore Liege Ensemble neu arrangiert. Robert Lafond: As I began writing down the melodic material, and diving further into the lyrical content, I was charmed by the magical world of Marc Bolan. It then became clear that what I had to do was to simply let the imagery of the songs make its way through my imagination. The rest was in the uncontrollable realm of music making itself. I hope this extrapolation of Marc Bolan's poetry and music will participate in making this wonderful legendary world known to people who would not otherwise encounter it, because legends are important and are often times closer to truth than what we dare call reality. Robert Lafond is a master. Catherine Lambert has the most beautiful and haunting voice for this project. You have done the greatest service possible to the memory of Marc Bolan.
