Der Song "Man Hate Man" erschien 2002 beim Label Dozo Music auf dem Album "Cold Duck Trio & Platypus Complex", dem eigentlichen Debütalbum von Cold Duck Complex, das aber meist in ihrer Diskografie vergessen wird, da es unter Cold Duck Trio & Platypus Complex und nicht unter Cold Duck Complex geordnet wird. Of course, this album would be worth every penny even if it was one track - "Man Hate Man" - a song that needs to be heard by all, at least twice. Makaya McCraven hat 2012 beim Label Chicago Sessions sein erstes Soloalbum "Split Decision" veröffentlicht. Zuletzt veröffentlichte Makaya McCraven 2022 bei Nonsuch Records das Album "In These Times". Makaya McCraven: I grew up studying jazz as a way to be masterful at my craft as a drummer. But as a young person, I was listening to A Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes, Nas, and Biggie just like everybody else. That was just our generation. Makaya McCraven wurde 1983 in Paris, Frankreich geboren, die Familie wanderte nach US-Amerika aus, als er 3 Jahre alt war. Sein Vater Stephen McCraven ist ebenfalls Drummer, er spielte u.a. mit Jazzgrößen wie dem Saxophonisten Archie Shepp, Yusef Lateef oder Pee Wee Ellis, seine Mutter ist die ungarische Sängerin und Flötistin Ágnes Zsigmondi. The Problemaddicts waren die Rapper 1ne Man Sound alias Timothy Horton, Black Buddha alias Justin Malone, Force alias Garrick Perry und Vorheez alias Jason Weeks sowie DJ Theory alias Jake Krauth und Produzent Tone alias Tonio Sagan.
