Lee 'Scratch' Perry: "Throw Some Water In" (1976)

Oh ah! Oh babbadeeda. / Oh ah! Oh babbadeeda. / Service your engine if you want it to function. / Check your oil and clean your radiator. / Make sure you clean your carburator. / Throw some water in the radiator. / Throw some water in! / Throw some water in! / Throw some water in! / Throw some water in your radiator! Service your body if you want it to function. / Exercise and build up your structure. / Go to sea and learn how to swim. / If you can't afford off a gym. / Buy a piece of rope! / Buy a piece of rope! / Buy a piece of rope! / Exercise and tune up your system! / Oh ah! Babbaree, babbadeja. / Oh ah! Uh! / Throw some water in! / Throw some water in! / Throw some water in! Er machte Aufnahmen mit dem Mad Professor alias Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser, Dub Syndicate, Bullwackie alias Lloyd Barnes, King Tubby alias Osbourne Ruddock, den Jolly Brothers, DJ Spooky That Subliminal Kid alias Paul D. Miller, The Whitebellyrats, Adrian Sherwood, The Orb, ERM (Easy Riddim Maker), Robo Bass HiFi alias Markus Kamman, Dubblestandart, The Robotiks, Pura Vida etcetera etcetera. Do more service, water your garden! / Water your garden, your seed will grow, uh! / Service your engine and it will go, uh! / Throw some water in! / Throw some water in! / Throw some water in! / Throw some water in the radiator! Auf die Frage You’re 80, and seemingly fit as a fiddle. What’s the secret? des Journalisten Dave Simpson antwortete Lee 'Scratch' Perry 2016: The music did it for me. As an example to prove to people that God is still alive. He keeps me well to this age. It’s like… I am a prince and the music is the king and the music is my father who art in heaven, hallowed be his name. So the music lives on. Service your body if you want it to function. / Exercise and build up your structure. / Go to sea and learn how to swim. / If you can't afford off a gym. / Buy a piece of rope! / Buy a piece of rope! / Buy a skipping rope! / Exercise if you love your system! / Water your garden and it will grow. / Service your car and it will go. / Service your body! / Eat the right food! / Get some tonic! / Drink some fish tea!
